The Tulare Parks and Recreation Department has many park facilities available to rent for many occasions. To rent a picnic shelter or ballfield, visit the Department office at 830 S. Blackstone Street, inside the Meitzenheimer Community Center. Reservation fees vary from $50 to $95 per shelter. You can also check online to see if a date is available. Go to: https://apm.activecommunities.com/tulareparksandrec and click on facilities.

Del Lago Park and Mulcahy Park feature water play areas.  Water splash pad hours will begin Memorial Day weekend on weekends and holidays from 12-7pm. However, if mandated, hours may be modified or there is a possibility no splash pads will be turned on.

 Mulcahy Park is located at Sacramento Street and Sonora Avenue, near Mulcahy Middle School.  There are two picnic shelters that can be reserved.  The (large) North Arbor has a capacity of approximately 48 people, and the fee is $60 per day. The (small) South Arbor has a capacity of approximately 36 people, and the fee is $50 per day. If you are interested in reserving the picnic shelters, reservations are only accepted at the Parks and Recreation Office, 830 S.
