Project Area Committee (PAC)

This eleven member committee serves as an advisory body to the Redevelopment Agency and staff. The Board must consult with the PAC concerning policy matters which deal with the planning and provision of residential facilities for residents displaced by the project and on other issues which affect the residents of the redevelopment project area. This is one of the few committees where restrictions exist regarding qualifications for membership. Appointees shall include residential owner occupants, residential tenants, business owners and representatives of existing organizations within the Alpine or Downtown Project Areas. Committee members serve a two year term. PAC meetings are held on the third Tuesday of the month, at 7:00 a.m., in the Civic Affairs Building Conference Room.
